Good morning my fellow creative sisterBees!I would love your opinions….
I am planning on making a brooch bouquet WITH a few REAL flowers in the mix….has anyone else done this? Can you offer any tips? Also, I’m struggling to find some unique flowers for our wedding. Our colors are Red, Black and Ivory. I would love some suggestions from my sisterBees with green thumbs!!
Thank you soo much!

Search bridal bouquets on etsy. They had quite a few that were a mixture of flowers and brooches.

I’ve been doing some digging and found some great resources, my Pinterest is bursting at the seams! Here are some of my favorites:
I love the real flowers underneath
Look how classy these CARNATIONS look! Wow!!
This Etsy seller made this using tuelle, love it. Also mentions: these roses are REAL and not dried but preserved with an organic compound that allows them to not only look real but also “feel” real. They will not wilt or turn brown – has anyone heard of these preserved roses??

You’d want to use a “hearty” flower, I’d suggest carnations (also my fav flower), also it takes awhile to get a brooch bouquet the way you want it so a longer lasting flower is good (again, carnations with at least 7days life usually).
I’m making a brooch bouquet and opted for fake flowers so I could take my time with it.
