Have you looked at craigslist? If you go to http://www.google.com

then enter      site:craigslist.org vintage plates

the reults will bring up entries on all craigslist sites at the same time

Hey! You guys might have more luck posting a wanted ad in the Classifieds section. Also, I’d check out Goodwill, Value Village, and hit lots of yard sales this summer!

It’s a little far from Barrie, but…. 

I wanted mis-matched bud vases of different styles and shapes for our wedding. When I looked at Value Village here in Toronto they were selling these for $2 each and up and the selection wasn’t great. However, a family member who lives in the Niagara region started looking for me at places like the Grimsby Benevolent Fund (and other places like that in Jordan, etc.) The exact same vases were selling for 15 – 25 cents each! And there was tons of selection. The same thing goes for vintage plates/tea cups etc. 

If you had some time to take a trip to that area PM me and I’ll get the exact names.
