I don’t have baguette side stones but you may or may not want a contour band 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t like big gaps between rings so I chose a band that was custom made to fit my engagement ring.

It’s kind of random but I totally see a gemstone wedding band with this ring. Such as emerald baguettes.

I think it depends on how it looks on your finger, if you have any photos of that. Similar ring here (yellow instead of rose gold, pears instead of tapered baguettes) and in my case the diamonds basically go across the width of my finger. I’m going with a slim plain band and I think the yellow gold nicely sets the stones off in a way a pavé or similar band would not.

I have a baguette and round alternating ring which I love.

mrsmfsh :  Thank you! Yours is beautiful on your finger 😍 I don’t generally wear my wedding band alone, but I don’t have a job that requires I do and I’m not one to baby my rings. When I do wear it alone (very rarely) I don’t mind the curved look and sometimes to change things up, I’ll turn it around (it only has diamonds 1/2-3/4 of the way around and the back of the ring is a straight plain band of course).

mrsmfsh :  you can definitely get an extra band to wear for fun. Some of them a pretty affordable and it adds some variety. But I understand the color and outfits problem. I originally wanted a pink sapphire but realized it wouldn’t match with my wardrobe.
