We are looking for a wedding venue in Toronto. We are pretty open but have the following criteria:
-preferably rustic, historic
-must have dancefloor
-must seat at least 80
-must be reasonable cost (ex. 100/pp)
We are open to renting out a restaurant assuming it has a dancefloor and can fit a band.
While I have found a LOT of venues they all seem to be either ridiculously priced or be a very generic banquet hall.
Thanks for all your help!

@AMarsh: did you find anything?
I’m still on the hunt myself although we may have found somewhere, I’m having venue commitment issues

@MsGinkgo: Tell me about it. I’m having serious commitment issues. Not to mention anything I remotely like is over budget and I’m trying hard to justify it lol

@TO_Cali: I’m currently working to justify the price that I have from a caterer I love for our venue. I keep reminding myself that the price includes things we don’t want and is based on more guests than will likely show but still – it’s a lot!!!

I’m not a Toronto bride, but was there recently and drove by a beautiful-looking venue: Le Jardin in Vaughan.

We are having our vow renewal here: http://www.aberfoylemill.com/
Rustic with beautiful grounds and far less than $100 a person. The grounds are gorgeous as well.
