@rubybride718:  Sounds very much like myself, minus the children. I’m 27, 5’7″ and have lost 20 pounds since January to get me down to 160. I want to get to 140 but also would like some motivation! I’m graduating law school in three weeks and then have to devote my life to studying for the bar exam, so it’s hard to find extra time to workout. I’ve been going to a trainer twice a week since January with my mother and we love it. I’ve recently started bike riding which I love to do. I have great friends who are supportive, but I would love to another bride to keep eachother motivated!

@rubybride718:  Your goals sound like mine as well!!  I am 29, 5’3 and weigh 160.  Since the beginning of the year I have lost around 20 lbs and actually have been keeping it off.  I just need some extra motivation as well. I would like to get down to 130 soon, at least before the wedding.

@rubybride718:  I may not be in the same exact boat but I’m looking for a weight loss buddy too! I’m 28 working part time (and looking for a full time job in my spare time) and looking to lose at least 90lbs before my big day (which isn’t set in stone yet, since SO hasn’t popped the question yet lol). I’m 5’3 and started out at 240, now I’m at 215 and my goal is 125. I just started doing the Jillian Michaels DVDs (Burn Fat, Boost Metabolism and 30 Day Shred) but the bulk of my weight loss so far is through diet changes.

Is anyone using MyFitnessPal? I’ve been doing that for about 4 weeks, and minus a week of the flu (which = no excercise, eating more crap), I’ve done OK. It’s easy to let myself cheat though because I have no accountability!
