The florist we are working with was going to charge $750 to rent lanterns and and set up tables with them and some sea glass. i thought that was ridiculous and i am going to do it myself. However, i am having a hard time finding a white lantern. We are having a beach wedding so the lantern can not be the shabby chic kinds and that is all i seem to be finding. Just looking for a white clean lined lantern. It will be the centerpiece so it need to be a decent size. Thanks

Thanks. I have thought that. If i can’t find them i may have to that, but really don’t want to have to add another thing to my to do list.

I think Pottery Barn has some in white, too but they are pretty expensive. Depending how many you need and what size, it may be more than the florist, but worth a shot – they have been going on sale every now and then recently!

I hope you get this in time. I saw that Target is selling out their outdoor lanterns dirt cheap. They were nice too. 6.10 per large lantern down to 2.00 for the small. Check them out in the outdoor furniture area. Good luck.

I like this one:
I use google shopping all the time. You can sort the results by price and see a pic of the lantern. Search for “white candle lantern.”

Our local Target has lanterns on sale for around $8 each. Also, Ikea is a great option. For something more fancy, try Pier 1 Imports or Cost Plus World Market (if available in your area).
We’re doing black lantern centerpieces (3 candles each, with moss on the bottom) on each table, surrounded by small potted plants and glass votives.
