Hi Girls! I’m looking for someone to workout with or at least chat about workout goals. I’m not getting married til December, but I have a terrible time getting motivated. None of my close friends go to the same gym as me so I’m looking for someone to keep me accountable! I will not blow the gym off if I’ve promised to meet someone there.
I totally understand if its too weird to meet up, so maybe we can use this post for inspiration.

I wish I could be your workout buddy! But, I live in Minnesota, so there’s a bit of a distance problem. 😉 I just can’t get motivated….

Great idea!…I just started 4 weeks ago…I have only been using the eliptical for now…5 days per week… I jog for 3 and now 4 songs on my ipod! Thank God for the ipod it keeps me going!..I would like to lose 10lbs….I have been burning between 150 and now 220ish calories per day…not a big deal I know but I am totally lazy & 4 weeks is the most amount of time I have ever excercised continually!..I just recently decided that for breakfast I should cut out wheat…so I have a chopped banana with yoghurt…at work I try & snack on 1 handfull of almonds & a piece of fruit or raw carrots etc..then a bowl of soup…for dinner I have the same as everyone else but in a very small portion…at first I was hungry but after a few days no problem at all…you can always take PGX which is fibre and will help fill you up in the early days..I have only lost around 3lbs which doesnt seem very much…I do have 2 glasses of wine at night though which I dont really want to cut out….I today am about to start my 5th week so would love to find motivation etc on this board:)

@lkaye: Are you in DC? I am getting married in Sept. and have been increasing my workouts (well, at least most weeks)…apparently the additional little exercise was all I needed (I’ve been tracking my calories religiously w/ My Fitness Pal since May but hadn’t lost any weight). I’m down 8 pounds and only need 12 more to go…
