Good Morning everyone! My fiance and I are both heavily tattooed people, He is a tattoo artist and we own our own little tattoo parlor. Since it is such a big part of us as individuals as well as a couple, we want to have a tattoo themed wedding without going overboard. I for the life of me can’t think of unique venue. Theres barns, and rustic, traditionally classy places but nothing out of the normal… We are in the Peoria IL area…. I need help, what kind of place comes to mind for you all when you think tattoo themed, tattoo inspired?

Something like an industrial loft. I’d google “peoria il loft venue” and see what comes up.

Hi bee,
Where are you located? If you happen to be in NJ, Porta is Asbury is right up your alley.

Not sure of your budget/guest count, but here are some options that may work!
1. The Waterhouse Banquet Facility
2. Allerton Park and Retreat Center
I’d also look into local restaurants/bars (if you have a smaller guest list). There are some really cool niche places that may have an industrial/deconstructed vibe that would work well!

Thank you ladies, but I was looking more for something that isn’t labeled as a wedding venue… Something that says tattoo thats off the “beaten path” of traditional

I think someplace like a rock venue or old movie theater type venue would be cool. I don’t know what your area has to offer but when I was planning I found a couple places like that in mine. Might be pricey to rent it out on weekend though, the options I found were not cheap. I had a heavily tattooed friend who did a backyard wedding with a circus theme and rented a circus tent, had circus type games and treats (cotton candy, popcorn, etc) it was lots of fun.

Maybe you can find an old theater of some sort? Museum? An old house that’s been converted into a rental space?

a local concert venue (it would have to be a daytime wedding), There is a coffee shop that does weddings in my town, maybe a funky bar that you could get for a brunch wedding (before they normally open)

The first idea that comes to my mind is at a bar or restaurant that has a private room?
The most unique idea that I can come up with is at a tattoo parlor!
Other ideas:
industrial style loft
backyard
boutique hotel
museum
casino
I did a quick google search & One World Cafe looks like a neat place.

I had a friend who tattooed their wedding rings after the ceremony. So cute.
