@turkey22:  yep it is.  i didnt like being able to see the wires inside the bouquet, so I stuffed the tulle inside and made a little collar of it around the outside to hide where the satin ribbon started.  Also, it looks lopsided in the pic, but its pretty symmetrical in real life.

Yay for all you DIY’rs!  I too am attempting to make my own brooch bouquet.  After my mom sent me a link to a seller on Etsy…..and after seeing the price of them!!  I decided to make my own.  My colors are going to be aubergine, ivory and champagne.

 

The one problem I am having is how to complete the bottom.  Where the stems meet the flowers/brooches?  Any tips?

@Diamond88:  I had a lot of fun doing mine. I can send you a picture for inspiration if you’d like. I still have a bunch of leftover brooches too if you need them, or anyone else. Willing to let go for CHEAP!

I used multiples of the same brooch on mine, but mine was all pearl and rhinestone so they looked similar to begin with, I think you can get way with the same brooches if you space them apart enough
