I always wanted a candy bar but today Fiance and I came across the idea of a loose leaf tea bar. We both love tea and this is a little more unique. I think it fits out southern a style bit better. We would have to also provide like some sort of infuser or strainer because most people don’t hava one. Has anyone done this or have suggestions?

@Tbblount: Depending on your favour budget a tea infuser for every quest may be too expensive. You could go with disposable filter bags, these ones are $8.50 for 100: http://www.davidstea.com/david-s-tea-filters?&TF=384C2498270F&DEID=
Loose leaf tea can also get pretty expensive, depending on what type you are looking for.

@Tbblount: Do they make themselves tea at the bar or do they scoop themselves some tea into a bag and that home?
If its the first one, how about providing an alterantive to make iced tea as well!

I’ve never heard of this before. It’s a cool idea though. I’d have coffee too for non tea drinkers & decaf too.

I think it literally sounds awesome!
But, I don’t think it’ll get the kind of use you are hoping it will.
My bridal shower was “tea party” themed, & only one person besides myself had a cup.

Are your guests tea drinkers? I wouldn’t really use that favor, but if the people you’re inviting like to make or drink tea, then go ahead.

I’m obsessed with tea so this sounds totally amazing, but I feel like other people probably aren’t as insanely into tea as I am and might have no clue what they’re looking at.

I’d be concerned that if you think most of your guests won’t have strainers that they might not be the afficionados that would seriously appreciate the tea bar.

I kind of doubt this will go over too well. Most people aren’t into loose tea!
