- Wedding: September 2011
My Grandma has been stirring up all kinds of trouble, telling people details of my wedding she knows will upset them (for example telling meat and potatoes family members that there will be no meat, telling my flower girl I was going to ask her before I got the chance) and it’s really causing some issues. The biggest problem though, is that she is telling folks who aren’t invited that they are! The first time it happened, I said well, okay, and invited that person (my great-aunt, her sister) then that great-aunt asked if my second cousin was invited and my grandma said yes! My second cousin is most definitely not invited for a variety of reasons (we aren’t close, we are having a very small wedding) and I was not planning on inviting a guest for my great-aunt, since she was already sort of my grandma’s plus one. I obviously don’t want to make grandma mad, but I need her to stop spreading the details (or false details) of my wedding!
I also need to figure out how to make it clear to everyine that my second cousin (nor her gun-toting gangbanging girlfriend) are invited!
Please help, bees!
