So I have been eating better working out the whole nine yard not only to loose weight but to be healthy. now that Im down 20 lbs I dont feel any diffrent i thought i woud be like YAY im doing so good id notice a change (other than my pants going from to tight to falling off) To me i look the exact same its kinda bringing me down…
How do I get happy about my weight loss and start feeling better about my progress?

Could you go out and buy yourself something new? Usually when I get something thhat fits nicely that I wouldn’t wear before it makes me feel better!

First off CONGRATS! 20 pounds is a lot and def something to be proud of!!!
But I will say I know EXACTLY how you feel. Some days you just feel like giving up because it feels like you havent changed a bit! But some days you feel hott as hell!
I think you should go out and buy yourself a nice outfit that will showcase your new body! Then you will really see the difference!

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy: and @tranquility: I think a cute new outfit would be great! (even more so because all the clothes i have right now are too big or too small) Just the thought of a girls day and buying a new outfit already makes me feel better!

@MsPanda: Congrats on your weight loss! I’ve recently lost 30 pounds (January-April) in a company-sponsored Biggest Loser competition, so I know what you’re going through. For me, having the *need* to go purchase smaller capris and shorts for the summer was the biggest uplift, as well as fitting into shirts I had packed away, thinking I’d never fit into them again.
Good luck on your future healthy-body journey! I’m hoping to continue mine as well, to hopefully fit into misses size clothing instead of being a full-time Lane Bryant shopper before my wedding next year.

@MsPanda: Take photos! Seriously! I am down 22 pounds and when I look in the mirror I don’t see a change. Everyone else around me does. I take photos for every 5 pounds I lose. Seeing my starting photo and my 22 pound lost photo makes me realize that there IS a difference! Plus, my clothes are seriously falling off of me.

Yay!! I haven’t lost that much, but I have lost a little bit-so my clothing is hanging off me. It’s a good feeling. I also don’t seem to lose as much in pounds than I do in inches-so maybe you could measure yourself. I agree with taking the photos. It is hard to feel like you’ve lost weight when your brain holds a certain image of yourself. Good for you! 🙂
