We had my bachelorette there; we got a suite and did a spa party. Gorgeous property, and the Kimpton brand is well known for outstanding customer service– they did not disappoint. I was not involved in the planning but from what I understand, it all went like clockwork, very easy for my MoH to get everything together.  She couldn’t say enough nice things about the staff. Very impressed.

As far as decor, I have not seen the Presidential Suite from the inside but the suite we used for the spa party also had a patio and I think it would be the same patio if it weren’t divided up for privacy between suites. You won’t really need much– there are nice views from the patio (which, if I’ve got the location of the suite right, is really more of a roof deck with greenery than a patio) and you don’t want to obstruct them. Maybe just some strings of white or blue christmas lights for a little twinkle, and an arch for you to stand under as you take your vows? There are already some good-sized green plants on the patio; maybe a flower garland in complimentary colors would tie the look together without being too much.  I wouldn’t bother with an aisle runner or even bows on the chairs because it can be breezy up there; you’ll spend all your time trying to put the runner back in its place!

I would check the ceiling height in that suite; the suite we used had standard ceilings and that gives you little wall real estate to even decorate, but you might not need to do more than some flowers or other arrangements on the tables. The decor is very sleek, understated and classical/elegant and if you get too much going on in there, it would spoil things.
