I love the canals too, but parking is such a bear.  Next time I’m there I want to take tea at Jin Patisserie and check out that custom perfumerie on Abbot Kinney.

Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills is a popular wedding place, but it is also such a cool place to just wander and hang out in.  So many people in LA were like, wow, I had no idea this was here!  It is also totally free, with ample parking, a big bonus in my book.

I also love Getty Villa, and the jewelry/fashion/flower districts downtown.

I love Malibu Canyon Creek, Descanso Gardens, and the Melrose/Fairfax district. We have everything we want right at our finger tips!

I live in OC now, but lived near LA as a kid.  Do they still have the Farmer’s Market? I really liked going there as a kid.  Also, I like the going to Ghetty Museum ( I can’t believe it’s free.)
