I wish we still lived there – my parents are their but FH and I live in Seattle so we’re not flying back and forth, haahaahaa Needless to say Howard did hook us up with an amazing wholesale jeweler here in Seattle – he made my proposal rose gold eternity band and he is in the midst of making my e-ring. It will be ready next week, YAY its been two months since we began designing it, haahaahaa  This guy will also make our wedding bands…..I hope he is glad to have us as clients, haahaahaa

Yeeessssss!!! I wish I knew about their good prices before Fiance bought my engagement ring.  He would have saved a lot of money.

I go to Mrs. Lim at 637 s. hill st.  She’s in stalls B4-C4.  Super great prices 🙂

We went to Icing on the Ring (also on Hill St.) after getting a 20% off deal through the Knot and were very happy with the service and our rings.

It was interesting to see all the couples that were there at the same time.  The promotion was for a certain time frame but I think they do it a few times a year.  They had free refreshments and bridal magazines!  That kind of stuff excites me. Tongue out

Here’s a link to their site:

My fiance bought a loose diamond from a family friend in Seattle who put it in a temporary setting so that he could propose, but we could choose the ring together. We looked at settings for months in Seattle and Los Angeles and finally found one that we liked at a store in Seattle. Right before we ordered it, I heard about the jewelry district and decided to go check it out. We looked at reviews on Yelp and chose Eli’s Jewelry and Icing on the Ring. Icing had the setting that I had initally wanted, but after talking to Eli we decided to set down with him and have him custom design our ring. It was seriously HALF the price of the setting in Seattle and so much more beautiful and unique. It also had a a lot more diamonds!

Here is a picture of the setting I had wanted, then the one I got!
