I’m really sorry that things aren’t working out for you the way that you’d hoped. Hopefully your  NOA2 will arrive soon! I can completely understand what you are going through – My Fiance is from Ireland, and I sent off his initial K1 visa packet about three months ago. This waiting is absolutely killing me!

@anonbee300:  We’re at California too – so hopefully things there speed up soon! According to visaJourney (and most other websites I’ve been to) a majority of people recieve their NOA2 within 4 1/2 to 5 1/2  months of getting the NOA1, so you’re still within the normal time frame. Has your packet been ‘touched’ at all? Mine hasn’t as far as I know – but I’m sure that doesn’t mean anything.

these things can really take a long time unfortunately.  i would suggest not being set on that particular wedding date so that you aren’t disappointed. focus on the visa first.

in the meantime, to still feel like a future bride, perhaps you can take care of other wedding related things and research everything ahead of time; theme, colour, venues, invites, dresses, etc.  when you can solidify a date, your decisions for these timely things will be made easier.

good luck.

@mypinkshoes:  My wedding won’t be until April of next year, and we’re already about three months in – so odds are we’ll be okay with getting the visa in time. I’m still a bit worried though.

@anonbee300:  Maybe mine has been touched then, and I’m just not being notified. I never got a NOA1 text or email either … but I did get the hard copy.

@anonbee300:  Yea, i’ve done all that … maybe I’m not looking at the right place on the website though.

@anonbee300:  YAY, CONGRATS – that’s so exciting!! Now, going off how long yours took – I should have mine in about two months, which isn’t that bad at all! ๐Ÿ˜€
