bree90 :  I’m not going to tell you just be happy and it will pass because Ive been there.

It took me 4 months to leave the house on a social outing and 3 years to start feeling semi normal. Even when I met my now Fiance, I compared him in the beginning and felt guilty about it. My Fiance surpassed him in every way. He came into my life when I was not looking for a relationship.

What I thought was love then wasnt even close. His love was selfish, not kind and easily angered. You’ll find your person. Focus on you and what makes you happy and it will attract the most positive energy this world has to offer.

I enjoyed being single and doing all the things I loved without compromises, and also tried to casually date a much wider range if guys to see what is out there! I evebtually married one of these “wild cards” and couldn’t be happier!

Hang in there, and just remember you can and should have a wonderful fulfilling life even when you’re not in a relationship.

ETA: that being said, it is okay to mourn the loss of the relationship for a bit!
