Ok, i know i said I didn’t care whether I reached my goal weight before the wedding because I’m feeling so good about how far I’ve gotten. That is mostly true. I won’t be upset if I don’t get there. But I’m SOOOO close, I will be so happy if I do get there.
So the wedding is in 2 1/2 weeks. I have 3 lbs to lose. I’m 128 and my goal weight is 125. I started at 144! Help me get there! I already eat healthy and do cardio 3 times a week, walk a lot. I could probably drink more water. What’s your secret for being sure to lose a 1.5 lbs per week?
Note: I do not want to starve myself or be totally drained on my wedding day.

@coffeeeeee: Drink more water. Cut out all processed foods and add in fresh/frozen fruits and veggies. Also, if you aren’t weightlifting or circuit training, adding in a bit of that over the next two weeks should help tone you up. I personally stay away from scales as much as possible because I do circuit training which adds muscle while buring fat. I mark my progress by comparing my chest/waist/hip ratio.
I highly recommend Jillian Michaels Burn Fat Boost Metabolism which is FREE on the BeFit channel on YouTube. I also like her 30 Day Shred; you can find Level 1 for FREE also on the BeFit channel.

Good tips from beach bride, and also cut out AS MUCH salt as you possibly, humanly can. Avoid beans, flour, and anything else that will cause gas, bloat, or water retention.

@coffeeeeee: I hear ya girl! I’m not gonna make my goal weight (113 – I’m at 119 now) but every little bit helps.
One thing that has really helped me in the past is doing the Phase 1 of the South Beach Diet, which lasts 2 weeks – cutting out all sugar (even fruit), grains, alcohol, starchy veggies, and anything fried, limiting protein and dairly to only lean items, and eating a crapload of veggies. I eat fairly low-carb anyway, but I’ve been psyching myself up to do this strictly for the next couple weeks. You can google it to get a list of approved food (fairly intuitive, too).
Nice job on the loss! We can check in on each other if you want, since we’ve got the same wedding day! 😀

I generally avoid flour, but I didn’t think about beans! i’m eating them right now. I will cut them after today 🙂 And salt. reduce salt. i’ll try.
I saw your progress pics and you look amazing! you’re going to look fantastic on your wedding day! I’m going to look into the first two weeks of south beach and maybe i’ll do that. i’m sure that will help me! Let’s check in with each other! It’s so so so soon! 😀
