I want to lose ten lbs, but I’m wondering how soon i should start. I have my first dress shopping appointment next month, so should i try to lose it before or after? Im worried ill lose it now and won’t be able to maintain for 7 months. I’m not i guess you could say big at all, but i would like to be a little smaller for my wedding. I also dont know if I should try to lose this weight before I go dress shopping or after?

@soontobewithhim: I’d say start as soon as possible, that way you can do it the slow and steady way rather than quickly dropping, screwing with your metabolism then gaining everything back the second you look at a cheeseburger.
YOu also mentioned that you’re not big, so assuming you’re in a healthy range right now, it is often harder to lose weight when you don’t have that much weight to lose.
I say start now, and try not to think of it as losing 10 lbs, but more as a healthier lifestyle change the added bonus of losing a few lbs.

I want to and I usually eat very healthy, but after the holidays it’s hard to get back on the wagon. I don’t eat fastfood, but sweets I can eat all day. It’s really hard for me to stay away from sweets!. I do workout a lot though, except this past 4 weeks cause of the holidays. I did a workout today and was like damn it’s been a while!
