@smealeys: Everyone loses weight in different places. When I lost weight the last place it came off of was my stomach. Keep a montly journal of your measurements. It will help you see how far you have come. Try doing some abdominal exercises or strength train. Lifting weights tightens and sculpts your body instead of bulking you up. Above all, don”t give up. You have come a long way.

@OrchidsandCandles: Actually, you *can* spot tone, but you cannot spot reduce fat. So you can focus your toning on your abs, but you can’t only lose fat from your stomach.
But yes, you do need a combo of weights, cardio, and diet for the best results. And yes, the bigger you are, the harder it is to see a small difference (though 20lbs is nothing to sneeze at!).
Silly question, but are you trying to zip yourself or is someone else doing it for you?

@Mrs. Honeybee: I’ve always been a size 12-14 (12 when im looking after myself and im a bit smaller and a 14 when im letting myself go) and I’m not that tall, maybe its a UK size thing? I am quite heavy chested and wide hipped, my waist is my tiniest part and is 10-12 zinc he’s smaller than my hips
