Years ago, I lost over 100 pounds. My ring size went from a 7 to a 4.5.
I’ve gained weight back (and am in the process of losing again) and am at 6.5.
I think it all depends on the person. Some people don’t fluctuate and others do a ton.

I have lost 35 lbs but my fingers are not where I carry weight since I am a size 5. When I weighed 100 lbs less it was a 4 3/4. Not a big difference.

PinkCat : This is how my weight has been too. I dropped 30lbs my freshman year of college (18) and then I gained it back plus some when I was 20, and then lost it again around 22, and now have gained about 20lbs back and I’m almost 24. My body really hates me for it and its such an uncomfortable feeling being heavier than I should be.

twocaratpeony : this will likely entertain you for a very long time. Download the Micheal’s app, there’s almost always a 40% off one item coupon on there, then go to the store and go to the section with wire for jewellery making and somewhere in that aisle you will find a ring sizer just like the jewellery store has for like $15, and you have a coupon so 40% off that, then you can test size any finger you want any time you want

I’ve gone through some weight changes since getting engaged and gained weight. When I was thinner a size 6.75 worked but felt a tiny bit loose when it was cold. Now it fits but sometimes depending on the ring has a harder time because of salt or swelling in the morning or after washing the dishes, exercise.
