If your nutrition is good then I recommend WEIGHT LIFTING. It increases your metobolic activity so that you can burn fat all day long, even while resting. Weight lifting is the closest to instant results, showing iin less than 2 weeks. If you are doing a lot of cardio, I would suggest stopping and strictly lifting weights alternating between upper body one day, rest, lower body, rest, then abs- so 3x/week.
As far as diet, even if you eat fairly well, it wouldnt hurt to keep a journal for a week or two toidentify the little “holes” in your diet. Myfitnesspal.com is great.
If you follow this schedule you should see great results in 1 month and even more in month 2

nycaribbeanpeach: So true! I couldn’t agree more on strength training! I still have 3 months until my wedding – so I’m still just doing low to moderate strength training. However, I will definitely step up the strength training closer to my next dress fitting, July 1 and really ramp up the strength training the last month – it really can tighten things up and make you appear smaller!!
For now I’m just focusing on keeping my diet cleaner over the weekends. 🙂 Which is a challenge with so many festivities going on – and I love beer – but I’m trying to minimize it. 🙂

I am in the same boat here too. 5’5 and about 140 lb – so not over weight by any means, but for my own vanity and confidence I would like to lose this stubborn 10 lbs and get back to high school weight. I can’t say I’ve been succesful yet, but I know I need to run more, watch my snacking and try to mindful of eating better foods but not more of them. Eating 2 avocados, although they contain good fats, doesn’t mean you should eat 500 calories of them haha. Just try to incorporate more movement into your day. That is always a good start 🙂

KaylaFromAR: Belly dancing! You can do it at home and just 30 minutes a day will tighten your tummy.
