Does anyone want to try a weight loss/fitness challenge with me while we wait? I’ve already lost ~50 lbs, but gained about 10 back with the start of my grad program. But I don’t want to be heavy when I get engaged, so I feel newly inspired.
Who’s with me?? Only healthy methods allowed 🙂

Today was the kick off for me. I did an hour walk/run and hills. I’m going to see if the SO wants to hit the gym tonight when he’s home from work. I’m off for 3 weeks, so I’m going to try to use this time to get back on track.
Diet is bang on today.
Breakfast – oj, special k with almonds, skim milk
1L of water
Lunch – beef vegetable broth soup, saltines, 2 hard boiled eggs mixed with half the fat Hellman’s mayo, a granny smith with PB
1L of water
Dinner is still TBD. We have to go grocery shopping before we can do anything. I cleaned out the fridge and it’s bare except for condiments!

SO has been exercising again, for the first time in almost a year (except long walks, which are great but don’t help his weight) while visiting his family. I’m very pleased with that! His laziness impacts my laziness impacts his laziness and so on, but my progress never jumpstarts him.
I’ve been scared to jog in my neighborhood alone while he’s away, boo. It’s considered quite safe and the crime stats support that, but my anxiety ain’t havin’ none-a that.
