@bestbuddies:  Have you changed your exercise habits?  I somtimes find that a really hard work out supresses my appetite.

So you’re hungry but you don’t want anything? Or you don’t want to eat at all?

I’ve done a lot of research into nutrition and pretty much everything is conflicting – so confusing – but what works for me is to eat less carbs, and if I do eat them to eat whole-grain ones, but NOT to back down a lot on meat or fat. Those help me stay full long-term and avoid that empty stomach feeling, plus some research says that at equal exercise a moderate fat intake is comparable to a low fat intake. When I cut out fat it stops me from feeling full and I also feel kind of icky about everything I eat after… just a thought!

@bestbuddies: I went through something like that one summer. It was like nothin in the pantry was any good and why bother eating if I won’t even enjoy it. I would force myself to eat at meal times, but I hardly snacked at all. I think the heat might have played a role though. I don’t know, I just remember nothing seemed satisfying.

I have sometimes gone through phases with no appetite It was recommended that I drink Ensure and I hated that so I forced myself to eat til my appetitie came back, I also find that taking gummy vitamins boosts my appetite , maybe its all in my head though

Are you on your period? Or depressed? Maybe even under stress?

Im just like you, I eat so much but i do have days where all of the sudden I just dont want to eat. Just like you, I would be HUNGRY and guess what, I can literally go on for maybe 8 hours with no food and im good to go. its SO weird. I usually get those though when im on my period-

I would suggest you do a little yoga, and go somewhere open and have nice fresh air – feel more at peace – and eat somethiing small- in portions- through out the day until your appetite gets back. dont worry it happens..

@bestbuddies:

Hun I think its fantastic that your working so hard ! its GREAT!!! but you know your body better then her! take it easy, breathe, and remember why your doing this in the first place,

if shes  not happy, then im sorry to say this, but WHATEVER * of course had another word in mind * Her. with all due respect. Your health is on the line now. You were gonna pass out because of low calorie intake, take it easy, im sure youre already beautiful as you are, you dont need this pressure – healthy is the way to go. and your doing GREAT.

Im worried that because you have restricted yourself from eating a certani amount that your body would get used to it and then you end up going through a hard time getting your appetite back..

πŸ™ if you need to PM me, Id be more then happy to talk (:
