Deepest condolences from Canada bee.

Nothing I say here will make it go away but I hope you find a bit of comfort on this board and the outpouring love and support from all over the world.

I’m so sorry for your loss. And right before your wedding, too! What terrible luck.

Feel free to vent anytime. We are here and we care.

meliboo :  I am sorry for your loss and for all that are hurting from this.

As someone who has been through this (I was in the Sari club on the night of the bombing and had left my friends to go back to the hotel to collect my bags and head to the airport) I can say that it does get better. It is ok to be angry and sad etc but the best advice I recieved was to celebrate those you lost and to remember that they would not want you to forget to live.

Also be careful because it can overcome you. Get help/therapy if you need it because everyone cares about you and wants to support you through this. I unfortunately lost another friend through the grief so please take care of yourself.

meliboo :  How horrible. I’m sorry for your pain and loss. Seems like the world has gone crazy in the last decade. It’s really frightening. A few years back, I got my concealed carry license and have taken self defense classes. Of course that would not have helped in this situation. The poor victims were sitting ducks for a cold blooded killer high above them using an illegal fully automatic weapon.  Sicko!  ISIS is claiming “credit” for him but who knows…

mrstodd2bee :  ISIS claims responsibility for everything they can see. It was a 64 yr old white guy with zero discerbible connections in any even remote way to ISIS. Just….stop.

meliboo : I’m so sorry for your loss. Give yourself permission to not be okay. (((hugs)))

meliboo :  Hugs bee. I’m so sorry for  your loss. My thoughts  and prayers are with everybody who has felt the impact of this senseless tragedy.

The world is a really sad place at the moment. I know I will be hugging all those I love a little bit tighter tonight as a result.
