The dreaded happened. I lost my wedding ring while on vacation. I would love some advice on picking out a replacement. I had a very skinny diamond shared prong band in white gold. I believe it was .6 carats. (I hate talking about my writing ring in the past tense.)My Engagement Ring is an oval diamond with a pear diamond on each side set in white gold. It is 2.4 carats but I am not sure how it shakes out. There is no gap between my rings but I don’t mind one.
Should I find an exact replacement? Get something new and different? I am open to colored stones in the mix, I. Eat. Sapphires and emeralds. Also open to other metals. Help! Here are pics of my earring and my former band. Ant bees with lost ring experience, it’d be helpful.

Oh no, I’m sorry! That’s really sad.
There is a bee on here who has a ring similar to yours and she has a 1ctw diamond crossover band that looks amazing with her ring. I’ll try to find a pic and come back later and post.

I saw some nice ones on James Allen! (Old news, but I’m getting the ads for it now because I was browsing, and it seems they have some that are similar to what you want.)

Do you have ring insurance? Your e-ring in particular sounds like its worth a pretty penny–and you now know how easy it is for you to lose a ring!
I really like the set you have in the photo, I’d probably get an exact replacement if I were you.

This is just painful.. again I’m sorry to hear that it happened. The silver lining is, you get a mulligan! If you can dream it, you can have it. So I’ll ask you what the jeweler would ask you, what do you want? Because you get a true do-over.

The original band looks great, although it sounds like you’re maybe looking for a change? If you want something a little different, a band of the same width but with a colored stone would be pretty. Same look/feel but with a pop of color. Or a thin rose gold band would contrast nicely

I have insurance on my e-ring but not on my wedding band. Husband said I lost the wrong ring. Ugh! I really loved my original band and thought my e-ring was hard to jiive with so I think the same sounds right. Tnks!
A Mulligan! Love it. That’s kinda why I thought maybe branch out and get something I wouldn’t have picked the first time when my ring felt very “forever”

Andyisgreat: I found the picture b/c I posted it in the ring crush thread and it was in my photo archive on here. (As far as credit goes, it belongs to @BeachBee1988) Sorry it took me so long to respond back; hope this info is still helpful! 🙂
