So my sister and I were talking the other day, and she casually mentioned to me that she lost her wedding band (a beautiful 7-stone, probably 2 ctw white gold band). I was in shock! She said that her hubby saw how upset she got so he didn’t really give her too much of a hard time. But he also said, “Well, you’re not getting a new one!” HAHA. Oh, btw.. she only had it for a month or 2!
I was just wondering if any of you Bees have ever lost an e-ring or wedding ring and if you ladies got to have replacements! I’d be most scared of breaking the news to my man

I almost lost my band on our Honeymoon! Took us 2 days searching the hotel room floor before we found it! Did they not have insurance on their rings?? We got it right after we got back! lol

I almost lost my friends e-ring on her wedding day. It was the worst 10 minutes ever. I ended up fi ding it under dress where we were taking pictures. She has been married for 2 years in April and I only thrust told her and her husband on New Years and she just laughed 🙂

When I was pregnant my fingers swelled really bad (I had preeclampsia) so I took my rings off, put them in their box and set it on my dresser. After I had my daughter, I went to put them back on….and the box was gone! I tore apart my room and about a week later my husband found the box in the back of our closet. we guessed our cat batted the box off the dresser and into the closet. It was a stressful week! Lol. (my husband wasn’t mad, he said we’d get a new set if we couldn’t find it.)

My Darling Husband lost his wedding band less than a month after our wedding. We were both pretty upset about it. He decided to replace it with a cheaper alternative so he didn’t have to worry about another pricey loss.
i don’t know what I would do if I lost one of my bands!

I’ve never lost mine, but I took my engagament ring off one night and forgot to put it on the next morning. I got halfway through my day and realized it wasn’t on my finger and I panicked. Needless to say, I hardly ever take it off anymore.
A friend of mine lost her set while on her honeymoon cruise. She took them off the day they boarded and never put them on again until they were getting ready to leave, then she realized they were gone. I think it took about 4 or 5 months for her to get another set.

My Darling Husband lost his ring on our honeymoon. I wanted to take a pictures of our rings on under the water while we were snorkeling in the middle of Indian Ocean!
I double and tripple checked before we got into the water so it won’t slip out. But I guess, I was wrong about his finger.
We both felt so bad about it and we replaced with same one ($1700).

@romantical: My Fiance and I are training for a half marathon (my 9th, his 1st) so we were leaving the trail after a cold 6 mile run. We were in the car and driving home to change to watch the football game when he was on the phone talking to his cousin. He says “yeah… I’m going over to my future in-laws to watch the game”…and as I was smiling and thinking “future in-laws…I love the way that sounds”, I glanced down at my ring finger and didn’t see ANYTHING THERE!
I was frantic! I immediately pulled over and said “MY RING!!!!!” I started checking my running gloves and seeing if perhaps I pulled off my gloves with the ring still inside. Nothing was there. I searched my gym bag, the entire floor of the car, my seat. I was a mess. I started crying…then we went back to the parking lot, looked all over the ground and nothing.
A full out sob ensued. He said “stop crying! It must be somewhere! And if we can’t find it, I’ll buy you an even bigger one that you can’t miss when taking off your gloves.”
I cried even harder. I loved the one he gave me! I didn’t want another one. But when we got home, it was there on the living room floor. I took it off before we left to put some lotion on my hands and totally forgot to put it back on. Oooops…

@MrsRichard: Wanna hear something bad?.. FH and I haven’t bought ring insurance yet!!! He gave me the ring back in April. We’ve been stalling haha
@youngliz: Wow, that was very sweet of you to replace that costly ring!
@GelaMac: I’d be so sad and keep wondering where it is today :T
@TaurianDoll: A bigger ring as a replacement? What a keeper! I’m glad you found your ring though 🙂

@romantical: LOL I know. While I sat in his arms, easing back into feeling relieved, I mumbled “I almost got a bigger ring” and he just laughed lol
