So I decided a long time ago that our favors will be lottery tickets. Our colors are red, black, and white and I found some plain red envelopes that I will package them in, along with a penny for scratching and perhaps a general thank you note to all for coming. I am planning on using a "Lucky in Love" sticker with our name on it for the closure on the back side, but I need something for the front of the envelope….
I would like to use the saying "Wishing you Riches from the New Mr. & Mrs.!" but my handwriting is not all that great and I cannot afford a calligrapher. I thought about a custom stamp to make it easy, but it is kind of a long saying so I do not know where to even begin. Any other suggestions for the envelope front?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can use clear lables. They look pretty neat not too expensive, I used them for my invitaitons.

So cute! i just googled this idea and there are lots of cute phrases:
* Wishing your RICHES from the new Mr. & Mrs.
* We get HALF!
* Hope our luck rubs off on you!

Ok, I totally stole your idea and made labels on Vistaprint! Thanks so much! [attachment=200812,17973]

I think labels will be just fine, but most printers will print directly to the envelope too. Thats what we did for our invites and everyone said that it looked so nice.

There are lots of bees printing directly on the envelopes with a lighter tone and then tracing it with a black pen. What about something like that?

Thanks for the ideas everyone! futuremrslerman….what are the dimensions of the labels you made on vistaprint? I want to make sure that something like that would fit on my envelopes and not look too big or too small…thanks!

You can go to a place like staples and they will have tons of ideas for you. I thin, the best would be to print stickers from the computer. You can but a few sheet for pretty cheap. You will be able to choose the size, color, and font. I have never heard of giving away lotto tickets. What a good idea!
