think about what style you want etc. and that will help you as far as where to purchase. I’ve purchased most of mine at the Louboutin boutique in south coast plaza, however, I have several from Saks and Neiman’s as well because they happen to have the particular style I was looking for. They all carry slightly different things, so if you are looking for a particular style and/or color, where you purchase will likely be decided by that.

As far as the bottoms, many of mine have been done with vibram, its protecting, anti-slip, and a good cobbler can do it in red so it is pretty hard to see. However, for my wedding shoes, I have the bow t dorcets, I did Not vibram the bottoms because I didn’t want it in pictures. I just wanted to keep the new red soles so that they would look brand new in pics. Hope that helps! What particular shoe are you looking for??

Also purseforum.com has a louboutin forum that is fabulous. The ladies there are extremely knowlegable and can help you find a shoe as well if its hard to locate.

Oh I am soooooo lusting after some Louboutins, in fact I was actually searching the web for some just now! I have a big shoe fetish and have never bought any CLs but I think it might be something I splurge on for the wedding even though I had already bought my wedding day shoes! Oh well!

Thanks for the helpful post, I’d love to see all the responses as well.

I would say that CL’s probably have a slightly larger collection, but I would say buy them from one of the department stores…better return policies!  Just make sure you look at ALL of the stores online first, since they all carry some different stuff.
