I’m last minute planning a bachelorette party for my friend who is getting married in September! We have decided on having her bachelorette party in Louisville, KY later this month. We are planning on going to 4th Street Live for a Saturday night out, and there is a concert there that evening that we will be going to.
Can anyone give me any other ideas for things to do in Louisville? The bride has specifically said she wants to “shake her butt and have fun” (she loves to dance)
I’ve been to 4th Street Live once, but I don’t know much about the night life there other than that.
Any cool resturants we could try to go to? Any fun things to do during the day before we go out?
We will be staying with one of her friends that lives there, so we won’t have a hotel expense luckly, but we still need to keep the cost down so that it’s affordable for everyone and so that the bride doesn’t need to bring anything besides her dancin shoes! 😉

I don’t live in Louisville, but FI’s brother does and we’ve been a few times to visit him as we live in Ohio.
I’ve got more daytime-related activities in mind. If you’re going to stay downtown-ish and like Bourbon, Evan Williams has a tour and tasting that’s pretty reasonably priced. It’s close to the area where 4th Street Live is. If she’s in to sports, see if the Louisville Bats (minor league baseball) are home that weekend, or check out the Louisville Slugger museum.
As for restaurants, I’m not much help because we usually eat at FBIL’s haha.

I’m from Louisville Kentucky!! Depends on what weekend or day you guys are doing everything but Churchill downs is pretty fun thing to do! You could look up to see when the horses are racing! Betting on horses- even if it’s $1- is always fun and entertaining! You can drink and maybe make some money!
Fourth street live is great at night so that will be super fun!! Also bardstown road has some cool spots to eat and bars!
if you’re looking more for just chill during the day things the Louisville slugger museam abd muhammad Ali center is pretty interesting. Also you can just go your Churchill downs. Downtown is pretty cool!
