@candy84:

Bridal Couture in Windsor??

I think you posted something about my dress at Daniella’s!

I LOVE the maggie!!!!!!! It gives you a great shape. I looked at that dress online but no stores had it when I was trying dresses on.

You look fantastic in both. I might be the only one here who likes the Maggie a little better… but it might just be the sash? I think the pink would look a little nicer, and it won’t make your waist look bigger. But if people “talking” is why the black makes you nervous, I wouldn’t pay any attention to that. 🙂

I like the DB – and I love the black sash!  Especially since it’s one of your colors.  If you don’t want it to cover up the back, you could also have them sew it in at the waist and around to the back – then you don’t have a bow or the ends of the sash covering up the back!

@candy84:

Honestly go with what you will feel more confident with, but that Maggie dress is stunning on you. I’am partial to more fittied dresses tho. =)

I went with a Mori Lee 2505…I’ll send pics!!

I’m having serious dress envy with Charlotte…

It won’t let me send them, there’s pics on here.. but the dress at daniella’s was 1 size too big, I got mine from Sophies and it’s fits perfectly!!

Both dresses look great on. I think the reason why you would feel less self conscious in the DB dress is because the Maggie is so fitted.

I prefer a softer colour sash on you. The black is great but it really draws attention to itself – and away from your lovely face! It makes it feel like the dress is a focus rather than you as a whole. I think a softer look overall would be much more flattering.

Another look to try could be to have the sash tied at the back and cascading down the train of your dress.

DB has thoes sales every other week or so! If you are talking about the $50-300 off every dress. But if its on clearance I would get it now!

And like some of the PP’s have said DONT GET ALTERATIONS DONE THERE!

I love the Maggie! It shows off your curves but I say FLAUNT em! You have a great body! I saw your post that the David’s has a great train, and I agree, but most of your pics will be of the front of the dress and not the back.  Depending on the type of ceremony you have, people might not even see the train for more than 20 minutes (unless it is a long ceremony, like a Catholic ceremony).

I like the previous recommendation to tie the sash in the back? Or, you could wear it in the back at the ceremony then move to the front after? Play with it 🙂
