I love the whole idea of a bird theme, and Fiance and I have a thing for sparrows. Before I was engaged, I never saw a love bird theme in a wedding. Now that I am engaged, it’s everywhere! LOL.
Post some inspiration from your love bird wedding. Below are some little bird sculptures I found in the clearance section of Michaels for a little under $2 each. My cake toppers! 🙂
(Ignore the cat butt in the background.)

I don’t have any pics, but we are using birdcage centerpieces and putting candles of different heights inside them. Bird cake toppers, and our flower girl and ring bearer are carrying birdsnests instead of pillows/baskets.

@sparrowly: I love this theme. I was going to do this. But got too caught up in just the two colours we’re having. Hope all goes well.

We had a mostly tree themed wedding, but did have birds on the front of our programs, on the front of our Save-The-Date Cards and on teh back of our RSVPs.

I like this topic..give me more!
I added birds, braches to my invites and cages.
My centerpieces are birdcages, ring bearer will carry a nest, I am wearing a birdcage veil, I have the same birds you have from micheals but smaller in white for my cake topper, my seating cart will be 6 eggs (jordan almonds) to nest each nest will represent a table number and each egg will have the guest name on it. The”alter” area of the cermony is marked with bright yellow branches in vintage looking flower pots on each side.
Oh and some of my aisle decor that hange from the chairs are feathered wreaths and my table numbers tents have a bird on it.
Most importantly my venue is outdoor off the water to pull the look togther. 🙂
The petals won’t be used anymore in the next picture I will used those coffe filtter roses around the base of the cage.

We’re getting married at the Audubon center in town (which is a bird sanctuary) so I figured the bird theme I had been dreaming about was totally appropriate. I plan on having a bird cake topper, birdcages hanging from trees, a birdcage card holder and possibly adding bird/tree/birdcage thematic elements into our paper products. We’re pretty early in the planning stages, so I’m not sure about anything yet, but there will definitely be some representation for the feathered friends. 🙂

I bought the exact same birds at Michaels except one blue and one green! They had larger ones and smaller ones, and the larger ones were 40% off. I’m going to put them on our guestbook table next to a vintage looking birdcage for cards and a thumb print tree.

We are having bird cages for card and wish holders, and have love birds on our napkins.
But my favorite are personalized wooden love birds I just bought from Etsy seller LoveNaturally. I actually don’t see them on her shop now, but if you look at her feedback you can see them…maybe she would make you a pair. They are sooo cute. I can’t help but recommend them. 🙂

I’m thinking about having the cake topper made in different colors for my wedding. the sculpture is cute to have sitting on your guest book table, or dessert table.

I am having a bird themed wedding too. I have been looking for bird and tree clipart. Has anyone found any?
