Most weddings don’t have a remembrance song. You can play it during dinner or the cocktail hour. Your guests will just think it’s a pretty song and will not overanalyze the lyrics.

I love the song but have you ever seen the video?  Since it’s pretty much about her fiancee dying before they can get married, I wouldn’t really be able to play it during the wedding but I’m weird like that.  I couldn’t even listen to it while we were engaged.

As long as there is no military link to your wedding ( guests in the military or wives) then I would play it during cocktail hour or something where the lyrics aren’t the focus. Personally, I cry every time I hear that song and I am a military wife so I would have to walk away from whatever’s going on if I heard that song. Just be conscious of that and you should be okay.

I agree with @pinklemonade12, as long as there are no military guests/wives.. I too start to cry whenever I hear that song, so it might not be an easy one to play at a wedding that is supposed to be a happy occasion.. So I agree with cocktail hour/dinner as well, when the lyrics won’t be the focus..
