You have such slender hips and are rather… boobalicious… so I think a different silhouette would look more balanced on you.  I LOVE the lace and the beading though, so a similar dress in an A-line would be more flattering, in my opinion.  I think the sweetheart neckline looks good on you, but maybe not so deep (if you are having a church ceremony).

What’s important is how you feel in the dress.

I think the lace and beading are beautiful! I also think the sample dress is a little small on you, which might be why your parents aren’t seeing what you see. Once fitted to you I think the dress will be spectacular! 🙂

@Whitwhit1689:  It’s gorgeous.  Your parents probably don’t like it for the boobs.

It depends on what kind of look you’re going for.  If you want to look and feel sexy, get this dress!  It you want a more modest look, keep looking.  Or you can talk to the seamstress and see if they can provide more coverage for this dress…

@Whitwhit1689:  If you like it, then get it.  You look fantastic.  And yes, I agree, if you get the right size it might cover you better.  I had some nice cleavage on my wedding day and rocked it!

Uh oh, are your parents paying?  Will they not pay for this one???

@Whitwhit1689:  Oh, if this isn’t the right size then yes, it will look better if it fits!  I actually love illusion straps (I had some myself) but they might just be a little hesitant about the deep V and the boobs popping out.  A gown that fits properly will look like a completely different dress 🙂

I don’t love the bottom half, I don’t think it’s flattering on your hips but I love the top of it

@Whitwhit1689:  Maybe try an A-line that is more fit and flare, and put a crinoline under it to poof the bottom a bit?  That would balance you out a bit more, and with a top that fits it will cover a bit more… that might strike the balance between the va-va-voom you want and the modesty your parents want.  In fact, that dress two sizes up would be closer to a fit-n-flare than a mermaid anyway, and once you take that tiny little waist in it will flatter your figure more and the crino will add some balance.  I think it will look fab!

I love it, but I do think you need to wear some heals in it. You look a bit on the short side…. other than that, in the right size, it would be very pretty.
