I would like to put the shakespeare quote from sonnet 116 "Love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds." Because it is shakespeate however I don’t think people will understand it and will think I am stupid for putting it down. Have you ladies used quotes at all? This is one of my favorite love quotes and I want to use it so bad.

- Wedding: July 2018 - Outdoor ceremony, banquet hall reception
I don’t know why people wouldn’t understand this quote- it’s pretty straightforward.
If I were to use that one, then I think I would probably use the entire line- it makes more sense that way.
"Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds, or bends with the remover to remove. O no! It is an ever fixed mark, that looks on tempests and is never shaken."
If you love this line, then go for it! Who cares if people don’t like it. It’s your wedding, and you should do it the way you want! 🙂

Go ahead and include it! You love it, and you should go for it! And honestly, if anyone doesn’t get it…they’ll just ignore it other than noticing that it looks pretty. 🙂

As someone who has directed her share of Shakespeare shows, I say go for it! People may not get all of the subtle nuance of Shakespeare, but even groundlings got the gist of it, and I’m sure your guests will too. 🙂
