@D.Marie – you really want me to go there? I’ll go there! LOL! I’m all about love songs.

I think that we will most likely do Bless the Broken Road for our first dance…but here are some more I love & want to have played (God bless our DJ lol)
Love, Me – Colin Raye – playing it for my grandparents
In a Different Light – Doug Stone – gives me chills
Not On Your Love – Jeff Carson – we all go through a bad icky day…this is the song!
Me and You – Kenny Chesney….ordinary? NO
Places I’ve Never Been – Mark Wills
Back at One – Mark Wills ( I wish I could find the duet with Brian McKnight)
I Do (Cherish You) – Mark Wills (may talk him into this for 1st dance song)
Stars over Texas – Tracy Lawrence (my mum’s favorite country song)
To Make You Feel My Love – Garth & Tricia
I’m Yours – Jason Mraz
Lucky – Jason Mraz (also a 1st dance contender)
Pretty Girl – Jon B.(he’s too young to remember when it was a big song but he calls me pretty girl)
My Romance – Carmen McRae
Crazy in Love – Beyonce (a week after we met I had to go to N.O. for work & I ROCKED this song on stage at the Cat’s Meow with him on my mind 🙂

@D.Marie – I had really cute couple friends in TX & the hubby is an Elvis impersonator (Yup…and friggin awesome!) his song for his wife was "To all the girls I’ve loved before".

They are an Encore couple who met very late in life & it used to make me cry when he’d get up & sing it for Sandy. 🙂

@Happily- I am actually having my wedding in a friends backyard.. . lol. . that sounds odd, but we are having a tiny wedding so it fits. But as for cool places to have a wedding. . . idk if this is your style. .  But have you ever thought about Plimouth Plantation or Sturbridge Village? If we had more people coming we would have had or wedding at Sturbridged Village. So cool and different. Also a friend of mine had their wedding at the Old South Church in Boston. . . GORGEOUS!  Hope i helped!

We would LOVE to have a backyard wedding! That’s going to be amazing! If my parents still had their old house we would’ve done that.
You know what’s awful though is I’m in love with the Inn at Round Barn in Waitsfield, VT http://www.innattheroundbarn.com/….I lived in VT for years and loved it…but ugh…most of my family will have to travel to get here & then, HI, Drive to VT….I’m so torn….I hadn’t thought about Sturbridge though, I’m gonna check that out…thank you!!! 🙂

@happilywaiting:  Man, you just took me waaay back (in a good way) with those titles.  Doug Stone and Colin Raye were some of my FAVORITES growing up!  I’ve got the words to "In a Different Light" playing in my head right now…   :o)
