We are getting down to the details for our reception, which will be a dinner at a bayfront restaurant highlighting some delicious regional seafood.
I found these on etsy and immediately had to have them:
They are little 2″ knots that can double as favors and place card holders! I thought they were perfect since SO also used to co-own a sailboat when we lived near the water 🙂
My only reservation is they are $6 each… which x 50 guests would be $300 (plus whatever tax and shipping) just for this little detail.
Do you think they are cute or if you received one as a favor would you be like “what the heck?” Thanks for voting!!

I would definitely be like “What the hell am I supposed to do with this” They look cute though!

I cannot possibly imagine what I would do with something like that, so if I were you’d I’d only get them if you think you’d be able to keep them and sell them afterward to another bride. Use it as decor, rather than a favor.

Yea, they’re cute but I’d probably give it to my cat to play with, what would I do with it? If it had your names and wedding date on it somehow, maybe that would tie it in more?

They are absolutely adorable!! But imwouldnt pay 300 for them. You should look for a less expensive alternative. You may be able to DIY!!!! Looking at them from a guests perspective, although they are adorable i probably wouldn’t look twice at them.

- Wedding: January 2013 - Harbourfront Grand Hall
IMO all favors are not worth it!

They are so cute! And are perfect for your wedding! I think that I would not know what to do with it at my home though! Also, people may not even realize that is their favor. I think there are other great things you can get with your theme for cheaper!

Cute, but not worth the money. Plus, people will have no idea what to do with them. Unless you have $300 to burn on a detail that won’t even be in pics you hang on the wall (random table shot won’t be one of the framed ones, I promise!), then i’d pass.
Super cute though, shame they cost so much!

They are super cute and sounds like would go with your theme perfectly….but….I am just not into favors. And I wouldn’t know what to do with them, and would probably end up leaving it.

@lolaswann: I was just thinking that my little Pomeranian would love it as a toy. Sorry OP, I understand the idea and its cute but it’s a useless favor for your guests and it would be a waste of your money.

They look very cute, but I’d have no idea what to do with them so I probably wouldnt take them home.

They are cute for your theme, but I wouldn’t consider them a guest favor. I’m not sure what your guests would do with them after the wedding.

+1 on giving it to my cat for a toy. It’s super cute as decor, just not as a favor.

I don’t think that is a favor…those are usually little gifts of some sort that people are supposed to be able to use or eat. And most of the time they are end up something I throw away or eat. I’d take something edible over trinkets (as long as it’s good). Not worth $300 IMO. I wouldn’t take it with me, I would have thought it was decor. My favorite favors or photobooth photos! Or candy.

I would also give it to my cat. I’m not sure what use I would have for it.
