David’s Bridal has it for $115 – so kinda in the middle?  Sorry!

Do you know anyone that would be willing to make one? This looks easy to make out of wood. And could be made cuter too!

It looks neat, but the bride’s cross looks like it would be easy to break, especially if it was a tight fit.

It’s handmade from wood and stone, which is why the price is the way it is, which I don’t think is that bad. If it’s really important to you find the money for it. On this website, it’s on sale for $114.96 and that’s the cheapest one. http://www.shopinspiration.com/For-Your-Ceremony_c3.htm

It looks beautiful, I am sure there are other places that are less expensive you can find.  (It’s too bad though that in the visual depiction as you have described, men are not acknowledged as being intricate, or women as strong protectors as well.)

Have you considered unity sand with three colors (white for the pastor to pour on the top and bottom to represent God, a color representing the bride, and another color representing the groom)?

Have you considered contacting some people on Etsy to see if they can make it?  I’m sure they have people there that make things with wood.

@leecy87:  I bought one, but it was on sale for $115. I think David’s has them for that too. Well worth the price IMO it’s beautiful and something we will display in our home for years to come!

@leecy87:  I searched for unity cross on Etsy but unfortunately did not find one. However, if you search for handmade wooden cross, you can find some gorgeous works. Maybe you can talk to some of those stores and see if they can make one for you…? Just a thought.

ETA: Even if they can’t make it as a thick, 3D standing cross, after the wedding you could mount it in a pretty shadowbox-type frame and hang it on your wall. Again, just thinking out loud. Good luck!
