Companies that write fake reviews of themselves online are despised by brides. The fakes are easy to spot a mile away and it makes the company look TERRIBLE. FYI.

Sure does sound like a fake review to me. A brand new account made just to write something like that?

Amazing when things like this happen. What are the odds that two brand new accounts found the same thread and one person happens to work for the company that is being reviewed. Weird. Let brides, REAL brides make their own assumptions. Thanks.

I have used bunchesdirect and was really pleased with the end result. The flowers were fresh, and easy to care for. I would recommend them to anyone as this is a great flower option for people who are on limited budgets.

I have used Bunchesdirect and had a positive experience. I ordered bride bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres. They created a custom order for me so I was happy since they gave me some personal attention, like I was in a virtual florists shop! I see some mixed posts here, but wanted to say they were great to work with and I have already recommended them to a friend.

I hope this helps anyone who is having mixed feelings.

@Magdalena:

These really arent fake. If an unhappy customer posts a negative review and posts one time, this is considered to be a true review. BUT on the other hand if a happy customer takes the time to right a positive review, and if they only make one post why is this flagged as fake? Just because they have not made 100’s of posts does not mean they are not real. Regardless, we acknowledge we have made some errors in the past but we are always listening to the public and are taking action to improve and strive be the best we can be.

well I’m not a regular poster – actually never have… just used the boards a lot last year to get ideas for my wedding – I guess you could call me a lurker… however I care about my fellow brides, and this is not a fake review – DO NOT USE BUNCHES DIRECT… my mom used them for my baby shower, here’s her review.  Please do yourselves a favor – save yourself the trouble, hassle, and disappointment… do not use them.

TERRIBLE FLOWERS AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Don’t let your carefully planned event be ruined by this dishonest company. I ordered flowers for a baby shower on July 14, to be delivered the 13th. On July 12 Meric from customer service called to tell me the flowers I ordered would not be available until the 14th- the day of the party. I said that wouldn’t work and asked if they could make a substitute, 40 of a different flower, confirming that the replacement wouldn’t wilt and he said they lasted about 7 days. They were supposed to arrive the next day by FedEx. By 4:30 they had not arrived and I called Meric who told me according to tracking they had been left at my door at 3:00. I checked and they weren’t at my house or my neighbors. He said he would call FedEx. Shortly after, they arrived in a very warm box. I let him know they had arrived and proceeded to make my table arrangements. I quickly realized they had only sent 30 flowers, not the 40 that we had agreed upon and called to tell Meric but there was no answer. I left a voice mail saying I would have to buy more at the supermarket the next morning. The next morning, the day of the shower, 6 of the flowers in the arrangements were limp and hanging over the side of the vases. I called again and left a voice message. I now needed 16 flowers and was only able to buy 12 at the supermarket. By the time the shower started at 3:00 most of the flowers were limp and hanging. On Sunday the 15th I wrote an email to Bunches Direct. When I didn’t get a response on Monday I sent another email. I finally reached Meric on Tuesday by phone. Meric accused me of agreeing to accept 30 flowers. I responded that I would have cancelled the order on Thursday if I knew I wasn’t going to receive the number of flowers I needed. I said the flowers probably died because they had been left on someone else’s porch for an hour and a half. He now tried to blame it on FedEx. I requested that I get a refund for the flowers since they died, I had to buy more, and my tables looked horrible. He refused and was very rude to me. This company should be PUT OUT OF BUSINESS. DO NOT USE THEM.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!! SCAMMING THIEVES!!!!! I ordered several hundred flowers and received 1/2 of my order. HALF OF THE FLOWERS I PAID FOR. When I tried to call I couldn’t get through to them, I tried SEVERAL TIMES. Time was of the essence so we have to drive around town finding other flowers. When they finally contacted me back – they told me that since I had not spoken to them within 12 hrs of the getting the order, that nothing could be done. They REFUSED to give me money back. THIS IS STEALING!!!!! The flowers that we did get, had brown spots all over them. Awful Quality. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUINED THE DAY! AWFUL PEOPLE!!!! Please do not order from them. You always get what you pay for – the reason they are cheap is because they rip people off. Don’t let what happened to us happen to you on your special day.

So here is the full story…..

I am not sure how they stay in business. I ordered several hundred flowers for our reception we were hosting at our home. I left work early on Friday to go home and start on the arrangements, since Saturday was the event. Around 2:30 the flowers arrived, so I started arranging. By 4:30 I realized that they had sent me half the roses. I ordered 200 and was only sent 100. I called the company a couple of times with out getting though. I had no time to spare so I ran to Costco and bought as many white roses as they had. I finished the arrangements. The next day was the event and we were slammed busy from the morning to when we went to bed, getting everything perfect then attending our event. Sunday was the day we broke everything down. Finally, on Monday I called again since no one had returned my phone call. No one answered again. So, I emailed them. No response. Then on Tues I called again, I finally got through. I spoke with the manager. She was beyond rude – she told me it was my fault since I didn’t make a claim within in 24 hrs which the policy states. Ummm I’m sorry – this isn’t a claim like the flowers were damaged by delivery – this was I didn’t receive what I paid for. I paid for 200 and got 100. She refused to give me my money back and then hung up on me. This is not a policy issue, this is a breach of contract issue. I work for a law firm and one of the attorneys I work with is looking into this for me and contacting the company about taking action. I have also contacted the bbb. Please don’t let this company ruin your day. They are thieves! Sad they have to steal and yet justify it is by the word “policy”
