abcxyzbee : I have had a ring remade before but I felt really bad about it. I was going for a specific detail that was hard to explain and hard to understand. I’ll never do that again. π
I really like the band, Marquis and all! I was contemplating buying it off SG if you didn’t want it. My mom wears a size 7! π€£
sunburn : Nice!! Lacie OG version II. Beautiful!! How does it look to you IRL compared to pictures?
I REALLY like both versions. The beads add a touch of softness/antique feel even…. And the engraved looks crisp, clean and more modern.
Congrats to you both. We definitely need more pictures though!!!

abcxyzbee : I’m curious what the final width you ended up with? Did you leave it at the 3.2mm or narrowed it down closer to 2.5mm. It looks wider than 2.5. I think the height/thickness looks great slightly slimmer than OG. It goes well with the sleeker overall look of the engraved version!
sunburn : You HAVE to post with your ring you had in mind to pair with your Lacie. I love looking at all your rings!!! Please, both of you… post on the Lacie Lounge so we can oogle at Lacie’s wardrobe!! π

cicix3 : I would definitely love to see a wider chunkier Lacie! Yes, hopefully soon, I’m so excited for you to start your own Lacie project!

hm2012 : Thank you! I’m optimistic that Lacie 3 Marquis, although it wasn’t exactly what I was going for, will end up looking like a good match for my three stone. I can’t wait to get her and take more pictures. Grace said she’ll send me a tracking number tomorrow, so hopefully it doesn’t take too long to get here.
The width on the cad was 3.2mm. I changed my mind on the chunkier 3.5-4mm and am leaving that version for cicix3 to bring to our party someday π I kept referring back to your pic of the OG paired with your 3 stone and thought it looked just perfect and was afraid to go wider, so I stuck with the 3mm.
Along with the video, Grace sent a few extra pics with it on her hand, if anyone would like to see more..

abcxyzbee : girl, I’ve received many rings, but this one is keeping me from my work today! I am amazed how well they did on the little leaf details on the side…. In reference to your Lacie Marquis, while I see the difference on the side, and while there is not the “leaf” cut out, it is still just beautiful! I love every version! I think when you get it on your finger you will be in love π

abcxyzbee : I was super excited to see this since your CADs looked so promising! I see what you mean. What’s funny to me is that, compared to the OG, hm2012/sunburn’s seem to have a bit too much engraving/bead work and yours seems to not have enough. It’s like somewhere in the middle is the sweet spot. They’re all still lovely in their own way.
I think Pinky’s comes the closest, but I’m personally after the rounded version.

Pinky58 : It’s so awesome! I know you said you think you want a larger ring, but could please model for us how it looks on its own a bit zoomed out so we can see the porportion of it? Y’know, in case we copy it in the future *whistles*. Thanks!

Pinky58 : LOL I can imagine, I would get no work done with that beauty sparkling on my finger every time I glanced down at my keyboard π and thank you, I think you’re right, once it’s on my finger it’s going to totally win me over.
TheGridMonster : Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Mine is just a teeny tad bit lacking that engraving/bead work that really give these rings that “lace” look. Still very beautiful and for the price I’m happy with it. And I agree, a rounded Lacie Rose is my dream band. I’m tempted to contact Flora and see if they can do a rounded Lovely Lacie.

I caught this amazing detail for the “leaf” engraving and the prong settings for Lacie Rose. I think this picture can be really helpful when working on CAD. Provence ( Flora) has this CAD and of course, you are welcome to use it, but if you need a good picture for another vendor, here is a great close up
