sparklebee19 :   hm2012 :  ohh I also LOVE the idea of a  colored stone Lacie!! It’s so funny you two are talking about sapphire and white moissanite because I have been kicking around the idea of dark blue, light blue, and white moissanite Lacie from either SG or Provence because I love the way these colors look together in a ring, (see pictures below), but I couldn’t seem to figure out what colors would go where to really highlight the Lacie design. I think it would look gorgeous in yellow gold. Or even white or rose gold. Definitely on my future wish list.

I’m excited to see what you come up with adding some color to Lacie!!! Keep me posted 😊

hm2012 :  I really like your suggestion about alternating the two different color arrangement clusters!!! That is definitely the way to go when trying to use three different colors.

Wow, the different colors on the band sounds amazing! I can’t wait to see it, those cluster rings have always caught my attention.

I reached out to Demi and got a quote for og Lacie in 14k rose gold with moissanite, she said it would be $320 which is great to me and I’m hoping to get it started ASAP! I made some tweaks, mostly adding a milgrain detail along the bottom to play up the beading around the stones, and changing the stones on top to be 1.5, 2.0, 1.5, with 1.5 on the sides. I realised if you do that it looks like a little flower 🙂

I’m holding off. Flora sent me this picture as reference for what their sapphires look like and they’re much lighter than what I had imagined. I may try Starsgem to see what colors they have – I prefer the dark blue sapphires. But it was a reasonable price, would have been about $360 with shipping.

Just for fun I edited a CAD to show sapphires. I just wish ALL the stones could be sapphires, then I’d be all in.

I got quoted $553 for the Lacie from Provence in platinum. 2.5mm wide band. How does that sound? I’m so out of the loop lol. I can’t get gold due to an allergy.

hm2012 :  Yup I assume so. They didn’t say but I didn’t think Provence was doing lab diamonds? Lol I wish I could wear gold. It’s so much cheaper!

hm2012 :  I just used Snapseed! I like the side stones sapphire and the top moissanite but I’m not in love. I worry I wont see the sides enough. My ideal would be all stones to be sapphire.

I’m just going to let it simmer. I may just try it, but at $360 I’m a little reluctant to give it a try.

Nat82 :  I’m excited to see more Lacies by Provence! I love love love the rose gold Lacie they made. Did you ask for the squared edge or the rounded edge?

Thanks for the idea to use a photo editor to add color so we can all better visualize what a colored stone Lacie would look like! You are genius!

Here is my horribly non artistic attempt to see what the shades of blue Lacie would look like LOL 😂 but I am loving your suggestion on where to put which color stone and how to alternate that pattern!

I’m getting so excited for more Lacie projects to commence!!!

The yellow gold (or maybe rose gold even) is what I am really loving with the shades of blue Lacie because it lets that one central white moissanite in each cluster really stand out.
