I’ve tried both of these dresses on, and they both look great! However they’re very different, and I cant decide between them…I love the casablanca because it is a princess type dress, but i love the sottero & midgley because it shows my shape. The down side with the first dress is the skirt is heavy, but the second dress feels constricting and i dont love the corset dress. What do you think? Were having an outdoor ceremony in a grove of oak trees, and a “vintage chic” reception in a barn (a very very fancy barn ) Help! Thanks so much!!

Based on the description of your wedding, I think the softer, more romantic dress #1 looks like a better fit. That said, they are both amazing dresses. I’m sure you look fantastic in each of them!

#1!!!! That dress fits the description of you wedding to a T, it is beautiful 🙂

My initial preference is dress 2 because I like that fit much better, but PP have a point. Dress 1 may fit your wedding better.

Thanks for the input! I like the sexy factor with the second dress, but the tight fit isn’t the most comfortable…It’s just such a big overwhelming decision! I’ve tried about 25 dresses on. The casablanca has very little to show off your shape so I’m fairly undecided!

Love both dresses but I think no.1 will be perfect for your wedding based on your description. Also have you considered altering it to a sweetheart neckline? I think it will look stunning!

The first one is GORGEOUS and perfect for what you described.

They are both beautiful….I think I like 2 a bit better!

I love dress 1 for your wedding. I think it would fit it perfectly.

@Megz11: Yes! I was thinking about having it altered. Aparently with casablanca they can do that straight from the designer so it would be delivered that way!

Without seeing you in them, it’s hard to say. I’m having the same dilemma. I love a beautiful lace and tulle ball gown, but also a killer figure flattering satin dress.
So… I guess I’m not much help if I can’t make my own decision either!

The first dress is so pretty!

#1!!!! That’s the dress I got, and I didn’t think it was heavy at all. Also, I am having them take a layer of tulle out of the bottom, to keep it from being too poofy.

Considering how you are describing your wedding, the first one will fit in much better, the 2nd one doesn’t say vintage chic/barn at all.
Both are beautiful though!
