Mr. Johnny B and I aren’t traditional people, as I have said in many of my posts. But he DID want me to have diamonds in my bridal set. I wanted something a little more edgy!!! Here it is!!!! It’s rose gold, 1/ 1/2 carats of morganite and BLACK diamonds!!! I will be accompanying it with a thin rose gold band.
Morganite helps align your heart chakra and aids in the development in trust while opening your heart to the abundance of love. Pretty cool meaning, huh? I wanted to know the meaning of the stone that I chose, so I googled it, and once I read that I KNEW it was for me!! We love it! And here is his with black diamonds, too!!!
Did you choose something non-traditional?!

Awww! It is pretty, and very unique! And I think it is sweet how you worked together to create something lovely.

I love your ring! I knew I wanted rose gold, and I remember coming across yours in my searches! We too are what you might call non-traditional. Mine is a pink amethyst set in rose gold with a micropave band. That’s awesome how the meaning of morganite worked out for you! Out of curiosity, I looked up the meaning of amethyst after we got the ring, and it’s supposed to stave off inebriation… haha.

@shyviolette: That’s really pretty! And unique, too! Funny about the meaning. I tried to take a picture of mine, but it just doesn’t come out right!

Thank you both! I had a hard time getting a decent pic of mine. I only have my iphone camera and this stone doesn’t photograph well.
