I’m trying to decide on what kind of bra to wear with my dress. It has straps which would cover the straps of a bra, but the back scoops low so the band would show.
I’m torn between getting one of those low-back bra converters or getting a longline, low-back strapless bra. I’m a 34D, so strapless bras normally drive me insane, but I hear the longline ones are better. Anyone have experience to share or thoughts about which would work best?
Here is my dress:
Here is the converter and bra I’m considering:

Personally coverter never work for me. It rises up and quite uncomfortable. Have you ever tried silicone bra aka sticky boobs?

I had a strapless dress with a similarly lower back to it – in fact, I think it may have been a bit lower and wider. I tried the converters but they were just a pain and kept moving around. In the end I just bought a good strapless bra and my seamstress sewed two loops into the back of my dress to thread the strap through to keep it from riding up. I thought that it would pull the bra down over time but it worked like a charm.
If I were you, I would purchase a good normal bra (with straps) and get your seamstress to put some loops in. The only risk would be if pulling the back bar down made the straps visible at the side slightly, but if this was the case then you could switch to a strapless.

Is it possible to get cups sewn into your dress?

I’ve never tried them because I feel like they wouldn’t give enough support.

It is, but I’ve heard that you don’t really get any support with sewn-in cups. I really need a band of some sort unless I want to jiggle around all night haha.
