not sure how you feel about black diamonds but i found this amazing deal on this website that I was looking to purchase but cant really afford to just spend money because its a great deal.

http://shadora.com/products/2-carat-black-diamond-and-0-dot-12-carat-white-diamond-ring-in-sterling-silver#

its really pretty and i really love differnt color stones… or try looking at gemstone rings… also amazon, jcpenny, macys, sears, and kohls… you just have to do your research and look for a good deal rather than buying it right on the spot a lot of the time. moissanite is definitely a great option too!

Overstock.com has some amazing deals on diamonds and so does Kohl’s. Sam’s Club has some really pretty things, too. You don’t have to pay those big prices.

I’m getting a custom made sterling silver (because it’s the only metal that doesn’t bug me) and white topaz ring. Fiance was concerned about the “cheap” ring until I told him that it’s the “stone of fidelity” and represents communication, clarity and true love. It’s also my birth stone. He was like “oh, so it’s not just because you can get it in a candy store” I was like “um, no, it’s actually a pain to get and has to be ordered and maybe even custom cut”…Should be between $120 and $180 depending on whether we need custom cutting, waiting very impatiently for our jeweller to call me back! He said Thursday or Friday(today)!

This breathtaking beauty only cost $400. It took me ages to find it since I wanted something that said Chu but wasn’t extremely expensive. The sapphire is 1 carat and the diamonds are both a .25. I found it on amazon.

I told Fiance that I wanted a vintage, unique ering so when we started shopping around, we hit up only antique stores and pawn shops for any older style wedding and engagement rings.  It took some browsing, but I finally found this ring which is absolutely PERFECT for me.  I love it so muh because it is exactly my style, and I have been told so many times from people that they have never seen another ring quite like it.  I have done some research on it as well, since I don’t know the story of exactly where it came from…and sure enough, there are many art deco halo style rings that look very close in terms of the way rings were made around that time frame, so I am almost positive it is from that time frame, but I have yet to find a “ring twin” or even anything close to being one.  It makes my ring that much more special ๐Ÿ™‚  I ended up finding it at a pawn shop, and it had been sitting unworn for an extremely long time, so when I first purchased it, the white gold was dirty and the diamonds needed a cleaning.  After I got i resized and cleaned, I took the above photo so this is my updated vintage ring ๐Ÿ™‚  I am OBSESSED with it!  After all was said and done (purchase of the ring, plus the resize and cleaning), Fiance paid just under $400.  An amazing deal and worth so much more ๐Ÿ™‚

Mine are $275 thats all three rings, including resetting the CZ with a natural round brilliant white sapphire. Silver of course, I dislike gold or white gold. Mine are from Etsy.com

We were definitely on a budget!!!  Fiance got my gorgeous ring from an online site http://www.carat.com after doing tons of research on his own. The ring sparkles and shines amazingly and is just as beautiful as an $10,000 diamond and he only paid $600 ๐Ÿ™‚ Here is my beauty…

Ps….sorry the pictue is soooo huge…apparently I’m horrible at resizing on here =/

HisLittleRed That setting and design are so lovely and antique-looking! If you don’t mind me asking, who is the Etsy seller?

ahhhhh drooling over all of these!

I had a blue topaz just like that. I bought it for myself because the jeweller was having a 50% off sale. $70 and I wore it for quite awhile. Wish I still had it because I love the blue ๐Ÿ™‚

PS. those Fred Meyer destiny rings are a rip off. 1/3 ct way in what is a cluster of probably very poor diamonds is not worth $999…

We got ours for free by using an heirloom. To anyone looking to not spend a lot on a ring, ask the women on both sides of the family if there is a piece of family jewelry to use. Maybe there’s even a fantastic stone (diamond or gem) that can be rest in a more modern setting.
