I think it will look fine, especially if you plan to take your veil off after the ceremony. I think most women do that, and I am certainly planning too. But do take your veil with you the day of and have the stylist show your Maid/Matron of Honor or mom how to safely remove it without messing up your do!

I also did my veil above my low updo, and I put it on right before the ceremony and took it off right after.  It was really long, so I certainly wasn’t going to wear it all night.

@JerzyLady: Thanks! I did take it off after the ceremony. We spent way too much time on my hair to have it be hidden all night!

Mine was on the top, slightly towards the back. I was concerned about the same thing, but it worked out fine.
