I’m small but have curves (I’m a 30F), and I could not wear a V-neck because it exposes too much of my breasts (the shape works for me if I’m going out with friends or at the beach, but I’m just not comfortable being that exposed for a formal event). However, a sweetheart neckline works wonders, plus it shows my cleavage tastefully. So, whatever shape, it really depends on how you are comfortable with the girls (and the family). 🙂

@leenh78:  I have the same dress.  I am definitely larger (weight) than you, but we are the same height.

I had the v-neck adjusted a teeny bit to give me a bit more coverage.

Because I’m so large in the chest, I felt more secure in a dress with straps rather than strapless.  Those straps really helped in restraining the chest and making sure everything stayed where it should!

@CelticBeachBride:  That is the most gorgeous dress!  I’m looking for an encore dress, didn’t want the frilly white lace and was struggling for ideas but this is perfect. Thankyou!

@SeeingDaisies:  i bought that dress. That’s the Allure 8634. I’m having it altered to be a little more modest.. but i love the V neck dresses. I think it really makes my large bust look smaller. I tried on a few sweetheart tops and they really looked like a “tray of boob” lol.

Hi Bees,

For Gianna up the top, how do you think it would go for a small busted bride? Say with cups sewn in and a bit of a satin tapered from the bust to the tip of the point in the shoulder?  This was suggested to me today to hide the cup that would need to be sewn in.

Also, has any other bride tried it?  I found that the shoulder fabric dug in a bit (I guess because the dress is so heavy).  Just wondering if anyone else had this problem?
