It’s hard to say based on the information above- but, if the pain is severe enough for you to be keeled over for 15 minutes, I would certainly see your doctor. In the meantime, I would keep a small journal of where the pain is located, how long it lasts and what it feels like (stabbing, burning, etc.), as well as the duration of the pain.

Good luck!

Go to the doctors!!!

My friend in uni had similar problems and ignored it and it ended up being cysts on her ovaries!

Go to the doctors, you have left it long enough to see that it is not going away. Keeping yourself in the dark like this and asking advice from people who (are well intentioned) are not doctors is just going to keep your stress levels high and freak you out.

Please go and get it checked this week. Either book your family doctor or go to a walk in. Your health is not something worth risking.

Definitely go to the doctor. Also, have you noticed any trends, i.e. with foods you’re eating, times of day, etc? Are you having problems going to the bathroom as well?  You might have IBS, or something too.

I had a similar issue and it was ovarian cysts.  They vary in severity, and your treatment could be anything from tylenol 3’s to surgery.  If you’re feeling well for a while, I’d ask your OB to refer you for an ultrasound to rule anything out.

it could be ovarian cysts or endometriosis, I have both problems and have had the same pain your talking about. Are you on birth control? since I went on the pill it has helped alot with the pain dont let it go because cysts can rupture and you can get very sick

I am sorry you cant take birth control, my doctor always says its the best way to help with the pain from cysts and endometriosis One thing you should do is keep track of when you feel the pain during your cycle, I would get pretty bad pain around the time I would ovulate (thats the reason for bc you dont ovulate) also the pain gets worse right around the time of your period. Some people have it on and off the whole month which has happened to me a few times. I am not sure what they would do if you cant take birth control. I know in some cases they will do surgery if a cyst needs to be removed and can also do surgery for endometriosis but its no guarantee that it wont come back, the only way to cure endometriosis is a hysterectomy. I have also heard it gets better after menopause. It sounds to me like in your first post that was a cyst (I have had many of those) when I went to the doctors the first time they did an ultrasound told me to take aleve or ibuprofen and use a heating pad. Be sure to go to the doctor because if they think its going to or has ruptured you could need surgery. Also keep track of your period if the amount of bleeding changes you need to let the doctor know asap. Good luck, I hope you feel better if you get the pain again before you can get in to see the doctor try the medicine and heating pad it does help
