This is what we use.  We just by it from the local adult playthings store. It runs us around $8.00 a bottle, and I’m sure you can find it on amazon too.  I like it because, its water-based.  It’s not sticky, like some lubes can be.  I dosen’t smell or taste wierd.  It’s very slippery and smooth, and it doesn’t dry up fast.  We’ve been using this product for about 2 or 3 years now, and we won’t use any other lube. We love it!

Oh and to answer your question about the unnatural overly wet feeling, I know just what you’re talking about & I can honestly say that I haven’t had that problem with this particular lube.  It always feels very natural.

We don’t really need lune but in the past we’ve tried out a few brands. The one we settled on and keep around? Coconut oil. A little goes a loooong way and if you miss some in clean up then you just smell like coconuts and are moisterized.

@kryren:  I was going to suggest coconut oil as well!

I’ve used Pink in the past and really liked it. Just a tiny bit goes a long way and lasts forever without feeling sticky or overly wet.

If you are on BC or are not concerned about getting pregnant (either will do) preseed is amazing! It’s meant to be a fertility aid because it lowers pH balance, but it mimics you’re own fluid. We still use it even after TTC, amazing stuff. But if you are trying to avoid pregnancy, you’d definitely want to be using some form of BC lol!

@kryren:  Just make sure not to use anything oil based with a latex condom! Oil + rubber= breakage. 🙂

Becsuse it’s an oil, I find that it gives a smooth feeling, not a slippery and drippy feeling like water based lubes.  Not compatible with condoms, though.

I love Liquid Silk! It’s expensive (I think) but totally worth it and one bottle lasts a long time. I think its silicone based, so it’s not sticky, ok to use with condoms (if you need to), and it doesn’t dry up quickly. It’s also a bit thicker than a lot of other kinds of lube, which I appreciate.

Hahaha, I clicked on the link thinking I was going to blow someone’s mind with the suggestion of coconut oil, and it’s the most popular suggestion so far! FYI it’s also naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.

@Mrs.Maeby:  Ooo thanks for the tip on Preseed. Gonna have to look that up.
