I like the one pair of pants that I have from there.

They don’t give camel toe which I really like…

I love it. I have stuff I got over 3 years back that still holds up great after countless workouts and washings. Nike is equally overpriced imo..

I don’t find $100 expensive for a pair of workout pants. Their stuff is not overpriced, in my opinion.

They fit great and hold up well to wear. I like their stuff and am fine to pay for quality.

@Wylie231388:  ya i got them when they were practically unheard of. canada FTW 🙂 I haven’t bought them in recent years because i’m not as fast and loose with my cash… so i can’t speak to the current quality but it is upsetting that they’ve let it fall by the wayside! That is definitely what they had going for them. i got one pair about 2-3 years ago and haven’t had any problems with them but i think i bought them too big so maybe that’s why it’s been ok? i guess i won’t be purchasing any new pairs, the 5 i have at home will have to do 🙂

@californiabride2013:   I have heard they are very expensive but have never been inside the store – they stop at size 12.    I don’t want to support size discrimination.

I own tons of Lululemon stuff.  I’ve never bought any of it full price (I live near the outlet, and they have regular clearance).  It’s excellent quality.  I actually still regularly wear the first pair of pants I ever got from them.  They are from back when Lulu was new and only had one or two stores (maybe 15 years ago?).

I actually spend a lot more on my outdoor gear than I do on my work clothes.  You think Lululemon is expensive?  Try Ice Breaker, Patagonia, or Ibex.  Lululemon makes some seriously awesome techinical clothing that’s actually cute, plus it holds up for years.  Their running stuff is perfect for backpacking in the summer.

@kellynn323:  Yup. Totall agree. Sure, you can buy cheaper stuff, but youll replace it every year, so it almost cost the same.

And yes, the FORMER CEO is a jackass, but let’s be serious: every store has a right to sell whatever sizes are financially feasible and smart for them to sell. I don’t see everyone getting up in arms that other places don’t sell plus sizes. I’ll probably get flamed for this, but they’re a business, and they can sell what they want. I agree the CEO was wrong in the way he explained their merchandising decisions, but like it or not, a store can pretty much sell the sizes they choose.

Bottom line: their stuff is cute, comfy, durable, and worth every penny to me. I’ve bought bras and pants from Target, TJ Maxx, etc and they just don’t compare. The only ones tha do are similarly priced lines like Under Armour Studio and Zella.

@californiabride2013:  I asked for new gym clothes especially winter running wear for Christmas. My mom said she heard the Gap has the same quality of stuff for a cheaper price. I told her that’s awesome because I can run just as well in $50 pants as I can in $100 pants. To me it seems like a waste of money but I am also guilty of dropping $300 on Uggs that got a hole in them before the winter even ended so I’m not one to talk lol.

It’s overpriced, but for a long time it was the only decent quality yoga wear and it was semi-local.  There are more Canadian companies out there now though.

As someone who has been an athlete my whole life and have worn every brand in work out apparel, Lululemon is worth it!  The clothes and colors are unique the quality is fantastic and the customer service is impeccable.  I had a pair of the see through pants, I called and informed customer service and they let me return the pants and gave me a $30 gift card for the inconvenience.  I go to bikram and sculpt classes daily and my clothes have no wear to them at all.

Also, Zella at Nordstrom has great pieces for a little cheaper.  The head designer used to designer for Lululemon so there are a lot of similarities between the two.

I own one running jacket from lululemon that my Mother-In-Law gave me for Christmas and it is absolutely fantastic! I love it, but I don’t think I ever would have bought it for myself, I am a bit too cheap when it comes to clothing.  This is probably worth every penny though.

I have never tried on any Lulu clothing.  I was even in San Fran last week and had the opportunity to go into a real store, but I couldn’t bring myself to go in.

Love it and can’t get enough! I seriously have a Lulu problem. But I wear it to workout so it’s worth it. Their quality did go down but it’s back! Just bought the best Rulu hoodie running shirt Saturday. I can understand how some people think it’s ridiculous and wasteful but I love how functional and cute their stuff is. Best wishes!

@californiabride2013:  Insanely over priced. However, I own a pair of yoga pants and a jacket that I LOVE!!!!

I got a $100 gift card to Lululemon from a friend, but I ended up spending $170 on the two items. I have not purchased anything else from their since (about 3 years ago), but I still love the clothing I have. 🙂

I have a lululemon scuba hoodie, which I got about 3 years ago. It is great…has held it’s shape, has minimal pilling, and is very warm. The inside hasn’t pilled at all. I will likely buy another one someday.

I don’t like their pants though, as I haven’t been able to find one pair that isn’t low rise. I stick to Old Navy and winners for pants, and haven’t had any problems.
